2007December
2007: Steamy passed the Polish Obedience Exam Anna,
despite being 8 months pregnant, presented Steamy to the Polish obedience exam.
They got 186 out of 200 points and "very good". Big congratulations
to them both. December

a search in Sussex, together with Sussex SAR,
Kent SAR and other members
of Cantech. Venka led James and a member of KSAR to the body of the missing person,
thus bringing closure to the family. Cantech
still maintain their very impressive 100% success rate with searches. We are proud
of our little girl and our thoughs go to the family of the missing person, who
can finally grieve. November
2007: Steamy is Poland Junior Winner and Mid&East Europa Winner Steamy
got "excellent 1" in junior at the Poznan Mid&East Europa Winner
Show. It was his first show and he behaved very well.
October
2007: Godspeed Hanna Our beloved rescued German shepherd Hanna had been
bravely fighting a liver disease for the past few months. She was unfortunately
feeling weaker by the day and we had to make the terrible decision to let her
go, for her sake. She died at home, with her head on Caroline's lap. Wherever
she is now, there is no more suffering. She had been a great companion for
Venka and then a wonderful "nanny" for Venka's puppies at the beginning
of the year. She will always be in our heart. October
2007: Another successful club show for Spicemill Our Scamp wins best novice
at the hovawart club show. We are also proud to reprt that Spicemill
Ginger, one of Venka's puppy, was awarded best hovawart puppy at this show.
Congratulations to her owner Christine for showing her as Ginger is a very spirited
young lady. But we're confident that this is the beginning of a successful show
career for the two of them. September
2007: First show for the Stig The
Stig met his public for the first time at Richmond
Championship show. He did not disapoint us by behaving extremely well in the
ring and was awarded best hovawart puppy. Mum Venka did not do bad either as she
won reserve best bitch under breed specialist judge Julie Condron. September
2007: Scamp's hips are 3:3 We have just received Scamp's hips
and elbows score and they are excellent. So we can start the hunt for the right
stud dog in order to get some mini Scamps next year. August

family who is enjoying her very much. August

Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme ladder has they passed the bronze test and are
now working towards the silver test. Keep up the good work! August
2007: Venka gets her first calls out With her newly gained qualification,
Venka has started to receive calls out from the police through Kent
Search & Rescue. She has so far maintained Cantech
100% success rate with searches. July
2007: Fennel is back at Spicemill Despite the big progress made by Fennel,
her temperament turned out not to be exactly what Canine Partners were looking
for so she did not quite pass her 6 months assessment and she is therefore back
with us. She is a lovely young black and gold bitch with basic training therefore
looking for a new home. If you are interested in becoming Fennel's new owner,
please contact us. She would be suited for
a working home or a pet home who would know how to keep her entertained. She loves
to fetch and to cuddle, but like all young hovies, she also need to be given boundaries.
July
2007: A different type of puppy has arrived at Spicemill Baby Ethan arrived
into this world on the 27th of July. Mum and baby were able to go home the following
day, where they were given a warm welcome by all the dogs. July

search exam in Kent and passed! Venka is now level 2 qualified, becoming the first

qualification. Not only did she get in the paper,
but she also got her minute
of fame on TV! June
