Steamy
was born at Spicemill on 29 January 2007 from Venka and Jambo Spices
litter. This black & gold boy was the first to be born and also the first
out of the whelping box. He was a very confident little pup who was always hanging
of my trousers legs! We were very proud when Anna Pieczynska from the "Enormous"
kennel in Poland approached us to say she would be interested in one of our puppy.
She came to pick Steamy up on Easter week-end. It was a little scary to let a
young puppy go by plane to a foreign country but we knew that we were sending
him to a great home as Anna has a long experience of the breed. She shows him,
works him and of course loves him very much. We get regular news and Anna and
Steamy keep making us proud.
Steamy
has had so far excellent show results and is following in his father footsteps
as he is a Polish Show Champion. We are very aware that at Polish shows, there
may not be as much competition than in some other countries, but Steamy keeps
taking places or winning at shows where older hovawarts are also being shown.
He has also received many excellent rating and excellent critiques. So he truly
deserves his titles.
And
in addition to be a beautiful dog, Steamy proves that Spicemill is first and foremost
about temperament, health and working ability. He passed the Polish mentality
test with flying colours, his hips are scored A and his elbows 0/0. And finally,
he is already an obedience I dog and Anna is planning to keep going.
Steamy
is now a proven stud dog, with already 2 litters of very promising puppies born
in Poland. Anna would be very happy to receive enquiries for mating from serious
breeders for health and temperament tested females from Poland or from abroad.
