Elsa
was
born at Spicemill on 4 July 2009 from Venka and Apoll America
litter. From
the age of only 3 weeks, she was already showing a strong character. We really
liked her as we like dogs with a lot of personality, but we had no plan to keep
a puppy at the time. We realised very quickly that we had to find her an active
home with previous experience with dogs. This very spirited young lady has the
potential to become a fantastic companion and a great dog to do an activity with,
but she could also become trouble if not managed properly. Maureen
and David had rescued earlier that year from Battersea young Toby, a young black
& gold dog not unlike a hovie. They were ready for another challenge and were
looking for a companion for Toby. He had been compared to a hovawart, so they
tried to find out about the breed and decided a hovie was perfect to come with
them on their long walks, and maybe have a go at agility or other canine activities.
A perfect match for this pup. Elsa
ready to leave Spicemill for her new life with David and Maureen
