Venka showed typical Hovawart ability, which could have resulted in a good trials
dog, Caroline and her husband James decided to branch out in another direction
and joined a search and rescue group in Lincolnshire in the hope of making Venka
into a qualified search and rescue dog. After much dedicated training they not
only qualified Venka in 2007 but also started their own SARDA branch in the South
