Scamp
is a lovely hovawart girl from continental breeding. She
was born in Poland on 15 June 2005. We had a lot
of projects with her, but because we could not get her in the country straight
away due to quarantine / pet passport laws and also because our life was turned
around in 2007 by the arrival of our baby son, we never really had the opportunity
to work her the way she deserves. So we know we have never developed her true
potential. Caroline does a bit of agility with Scamp and we occasionnaly make
her nose work by hiding articles for her. She loves it. We think she could have
even be a better working dog than Venka, which says
something! But she is well loved and we are very hopeful that she will give us
smashing puppies sometimes in the not too distant future.
This
is what breed specialist Ans
Schellekens van Vught had to say about Scamp: "Black & gold bitch. Excellent
type. Middle strong. Nice proportions and outlines. Excellent head with feminine
expression. Complete level bite. Nice ears. Middle brown eyes. Very good angulations.
She is turning her front feet out a little. Well developed body, nice long tail,
carried well. Moves well. Excellent coat and complete markings of a nice colour.
Friendly character. Well presented."
