Mind your dog

Puppies are like sponges and learn a lot at a very young age. It is important to introduce them in a correct manner to a lot of different situations to help them grow into calm, happy and confident adult dogs. By encouraging or discouraging natural behaviour, you can shape how your dog will act in the future. We can show you how to stop unappropriate behaviour before they turn into bad habits.

Mind Your Dog runs a Tuesday morning training and socialisation class at the Knockholt village centre near Sevenoaks. It is a 5 weeks course starting on 15 November and the cost is £50. The classes start at 10am for about an hour. These fun classes will be a fantastic opportunity for the puppies to learn and practice their social skills in a safe environment and under the watchful eye of our top trainer. We will cover various aspects of socialisation and show you how to introduce everyday commands and leadwork in a kind and effective manner. You will discover the secrets to calm, confident and happy puppies. The last 15 minutes are informal. The owners can have a cup of tea and ask questions while the puppies have a rest or play together under supervision.

The course is open to puppies of any breeds or background who have received their first vaccinations. We keep the group small so that everybody can receive the attention they deserve and the experience is not overwhelming for the puppies. If we get oversubsribe, we will run 2 classes, one at 10am for the younger puppies and one at 11am for the slightly older puppies.
