Events and workshops

We will be updating this page with new dates soon for the next scent work week-end. We are currently looking at April 2012. But we could also run a workshop on the week-end of 5-6 November 2011 if enough people are interested.
If this is the case, please contact us.

It's all about the nose - August Bank Holiday week-end 2011 - Sussex

Learn to use your dog's nose at our fun Scent canine workshop on 27-28 August in Etchingham, East Sussex.
Have a go at Search & Rescue, tracking or simply teaching your dog to find your keys!
No previous nosework experience necessary. All breeds welcome.

Have you ever wanted to have a go at Search & Rescue or tracking with your dog? This is your chance. We are organising a scent workshop on August bank holiday week-end at an idyllic venue in East Sussex. Come and learn new games and sample various activities making the most of your dog’s amazing sense of smell at our scent work for fun week-end.

But be careful, people get hooked with nose work. We accept no responsibility for any resulting addiction.

Who is it for?
This outdoor workshop is aimed at anybody interested in scent work and wanting to learn new games their dog will really enjoy. It is suitable for all size and breed of dogs, from Chihuahua to great danes, and will help you take your relationship with your dog to a whole new level. People who have dogs who always seem to want to do more will get the added benefit of finally finding an activity that will tire their dog out. It is also ideal for trainers who wish to learn more about scent work in order to incorporate new activities in their club programme. No prior experience of scentwork is required.

A portion of the profit from the week-end will go to the Search & Rescue dog charity NSARDA Cantech.

For more information and how to book, download the information pack (PDF) and booking form.
If you prefer to receive it in the post, simply contact us with your address and we will send you the documents.
