We
are happy for our puppies to find a home abroad. But we want our puppies to have
a good home wherever they are in the world. So our policy is: Spicemill will
never ship a puppy abroad to someone who we have never met. Like
for the people enquiring from the UK, we will first of all ask you to provide
us with some background information
about your lifestyle and situation when you contact
us. If we believe we could provide you at some point with a suitable puppy,
we would expect you to come and visit us. This can be done before we have a litter,
once we have a litter at home with a suitable puppy or at the time of picking
up your puppy. We do reserve the right not to sell you a puppy if for any reason
we are not happy when meeting you that you could provide a suitable home for the
puppy, even if you have made a long trip to come to us. Please
note that for countries for which the puppy will need to travel by plane, our
preferred carrier is British Airways (cargo) wherever available. They have an
extensive experience and an excellent reputation for the transport of animals.
All shipping costs will be at the charge of the buyer. Please note that shipping
a puppy can be rather expensive so you need to take this into account when considering
your budget. Some countries also have specific rules regarding the age at which
a puppy can enter the country and which paperwork or vaccination is required so
you will need to check this too. For your information, the closest airport to
Spicemill is London Gatwick but animals have to travel from London Heathrow. For
people coming from Europe, there is the option of coming to pick up their puppy
by car, which may be easier. Spicemill is less than 2 hours driving from the Eurotunnel
terminal and from the port of Dover. Eurotunnel and several ferry companies operating
from Dover are approved to transport dogs. Back
