More factual breed notes this week with show results and also some information found in the Kennel Club Gazette.

We will start with the results from the European Winner Show that was taking place in Finland earlier month with an entry of 47 hovawarts:

I must admit I am not too sure of the difference between CACIB and CC. If anybody has more information about the meaning of these, please feel free to contact us so we can explain for other readers in the next breed notes.

The group was won by Newfoundland Skipper's King Of Helluland (Siklosi Béla, Pecs) who then went all the way as he was also awarded Best in Show.

On a much more local note, please find below the results for the Newmarket & District Open Show last week-end. Unfortunately, there were very few hovawarts entered this year. There is now less hovawarts in this part of the country since Pines has moved to Herefordshire. And with a few people on holidays, possible entries were unfortunately limited.
