The Welsh Kennel Club was holding its Championship Show at the very nice venue of Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells, earlier this month. Mr S Hall was judging the breed and his winner was seasoned shower Ann Travis’ Pines Tipperary, who won the open bitch class, just before Min’s Houwaert's Jiska. Best dog went to Minches Jason who had won the open male class. Reserve best dog was Min’s young boy Tyehelva Neo Nexus. Best puppy went to Eleanor Anderson’s Pines Marionberry of Myrtillas who was also awarded reserve best bitch. Not bad for such a young girl.

I am waiting to hear from the British team who braved a long journey to go and show their hovies at the IHF show in Austria. I’m looking forward to the details of their journey, but I’ve already over heard that they might have outshone the competition in the breeder class. But shhhh… more info very soon!
